I am an artist/Photographer living in Houston, TX. Currently I am attending the University of Houston Clear-Lake. I have been studying photography for over five years, and have mostly photographed nature, strange and interesing objects, and occasionally people.

The primary purpose of my work is to explore different aspects of an object in regards to the way that we see it in various light conditions, and how light alters an object. Most of my work to date has been creative or art photography.

My Photography History

I began studying black and white Photography at Alvin Community College in Spring 2005. I am currently attending University of Houston – Clear Lake. I have some studio photography experience, and have learned to use the lighting equipment that UHCL provided for lens media students, and also experimented with light equipment belonging to my instructor at ACC.

I have worked in a dark room since 2005, and am very proficient at mixing and using chemicals. I currently work in a digital photo lab as a specialist, and am trained in processing and adjusting prints, as well as cleaning and servicing the equipment.

I own a Digital SLR Camera for studio or Free Lance work, and a Film SLR Camera for creative work. I have small focal length as well as a long focal length lens for both cameras. I am experienced in using lens filter kits and lighting affects, to achieve specific results in photography. I am also experienced at digitally altering, re-coloring and retouching photographs. I have taken over a year of courses on Adobe Photoshop, and am familiar with every version from 7.0 to CS4. I am also familiar with the image manipulation program GIMP.
